ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಿಭಾಗ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2024-25 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾದ, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪೊನ್ನಂಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲೂಕು ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಇಂದು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
