ಇಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವದ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾದ ನನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕೇಳಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಾಯಿತು.
ಸರ್ವೋಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬಿ.ವಿ. ನಾಗರತ್ನ ಅವರು,ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿ.ಎಸ್ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಅವರು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಉಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿರಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿಗಳು ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಕೊಡವ’ ಜಾತಿ ಎಂದು ನಮೂದಿಸಿ ಸರಕಾರದ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
